I am over 58 years old and had to agree to a reduction in my work time from 100 to 60 per cent, otherwise I would have lost the job. What can I do to ensure that my pension plan pension does not get smaller?
Since January 1, 2021, persons over the age of 58 can request continued insurance coverage with their previous pension fund after losing their job. This also applies in the event of a reduction in work time. You can therefore continue the old-age savings and risk benefits at an unchanged level. The prerequisite for this is that you pay both the employee and employer contributions for this 40 per cent.
