Since January 1, 2021, persons over the age of 58 can request continued insurance coverage with their previous pension fund after losing their job. This also applies in the event of a reduction in work time. You can therefore continue the old-age savings and risk benefits at an unchanged level. The prerequisite for this is that you pay both the employee and employer contributions for this 40 per cent.

If your work time has been reduced and would like to continue your insurance, please contact us by mail (bvg@zurich.ch) or phone (0800 80 80 80).
