What is the purpose of the pension certificate?
The pension certificate, which we will send to your private address at the beginning of each year, is primarily for information purposes. In addition to information on your annual salary, it provides information on the amount of your pension assets, your expected retirement benefits, and your invalidity and death benefits. Any early withdrawals and the options for a purchase or repayment are also shown on the pension certificate.
We advise employees not to simply file their annual pension certificate away, but to check its accuracy. Make sure the salary reported to the pension fund matches your pay slip. If this is not the case, contact your employer.
