This year will see new elections to the foundation board of the Vita Collective Foundation. As its highest body, the foundation board is responsible for leadership of the foundation. Together, the foundation board members determine the strategic goals and principles of the pension plan and make decisions about the measures to be taken.
Members of the administration committees of the associated pension schemes can run for election as members of the foundation board themselves or nominate a person actively insured by their employer. They also elect the new members of the foundation board. The Vita Collective Foundation is once again holding the elections electronically, whereby the online voting tool provides for an efficient process and automates the counting of the votes. In a new development, the foundation board will now consist of eight rather than twelve members. The election result will be verified by the expert in occupational retirement provision.
