What happens to my pension capital if I do not have a new employer after leaving Vita?

If you do not take up a new job after your employment relationship ends, you can leave your pension assets with the Vita Collective Foundation for a maximum of six months. By then at the latest, you must have opened an account with a vested benefits institution to which we can transfer your pension assets. As soon as you start working again, you can have your vested benefits transferred to the pension fund of your new employer.

If you do not inform the pension fund where the pension assets are to be transferred to, they will be transferred to an account with the BVG auxiliary fund. This account is in your name, so you can gain access to it again at any time.
