What is a feasibility declaration, which is required in the event of a divorce?

In the event of a divorce, pension fund assets are usually divided. In order to make this division, the divorce court requires a feasibility declaration that lists the pension savings and any other information relevant to the court.

The following information is required:

  • Date of marriage
  • Date of initiation of the divorce process
  • Postal address

As soon as the legally binding judgment has been pronounced, the responsible pension funds will be informed about the payment of pension savings. Once the transfer has been made, both parties will receive a new pension certificate with the updated pension assets in each case.
