I am insured with Vita and have additional money in a vested benefits account that I want to use to buy into the pension fund. How should I proceed?

If you are insured with a pension fund and at the same time have pension assets in a vested benefits account, you cannot use these for a voluntary purchase. As an employee, you are legally obliged to pay your entire vested benefits into the pension fund of your new employer - this also applies retrospectively.

As soon as we receive your transfer, we will send you a new pension certificate. On this you can see how much the updated amount for a potential purchase into the pension fund is.
