I have a part-time job. How high are the insured benefits?

The amount of insured benefits for part-time employees is governed by the pension regulations or the pension plan of your employer. You will also find this information in your annual pension certificate.

As a rule, the savings contributions for part-time employees are rather low, as the coordination deduction for all employees is CHF 25,095. This means that with an annual salary of CHF 40,000, the insured salary with the pension fund is only CHF 14,905. However, employers have the option of adjusting the coordination deduction in line with the work time percentage. We advise employees with part-time positions to clarify this possibility with their employer.
