Vita Select: Nominations for external candidates for the Foundation Board

As only one valid nomination has been received by the deadline, an election of external candidates is possible.

In a letter dated June 18, 2025, we informed the Administration Committee of all employer affiliated to the Foundation of the renewal election of the Foundation Board of the Vita Select Collective Foundation and asked them to nominate a representative on the employer and employee side from among the active insured persons (i.e. persons who are fully or partially gainfully employed) who are willing to run for the office of a member of the Foundation Board. The Foundation Board is the supreme body and is responsible for the management of the Foundation. The Foundation Board must be composed of equal numbers of employer and employee representatives.

One valid candidacy was received within the regular registration period.

As there are two vacancies for employee representatives and one vacancy for employer representatives, the Foundation Board has decided to open the eligibility requirements to external candidates in accordance with Art. 6 para. 1 of the election regulations. To maintain the equal composition of the Foundation Board with two seats each on the employee and employer side, we will be accepting candidatures as representatives of the employee and employer side for the next 30 days, i.e. until August 30, 2025.

If there are not enough candidates available by this time, the incumbent Foundation Board will propose the following employee or employer representative for election, referring to Art. 6 of the election regulations:

  • Roland Zgraggen, born 1971, former member of the Foundation Board (external candidate representing the employee side)
  • Peter Kamm, born 1957, former member of the Foundation Board (external candidate as representative of the employer side)
  • Miriam Higgins, born 1972, former member of the Foundation Board (external candidate as representative of the employee side)

To ensure that the strategy can be optimally continued with our pension model of the Vita Select Collective Foundation, the candidate should ideally have skills and experience in as many of the following areas as possible:

  • Possession of comprehensive knowledge of occupational pensions, particularly around legal principles, governance and compliance
  • Experience in the field of asset management
  • Knowledge of actuarial practices
  • Training in the field of occupational pensions
  • Representing the foundation in front of, authorities and other bodies
  • Contact person for insured persons and participation in presentations for existing and new customers
  • Performing representative tasks for the Vita Select Collective Foundation
  • Collaboration in projects for the further development of pension solutions
  • Very good written and spoken German
  • Employee representation: No executive function (e.g. member of the Board of Directors, member of the Executive Board, member of management, etc.)

We look forward to receiving interesting candidate applications.
