Vita Joint Foundation: Change in employers’ representative on the foundation board
As of July 1, the previous foundation board member and employers’ representative Heinz Bossert will retire and thus leave the foundation board of the Vita Joint Foundation. Silvia Rose will be his successor.
Silvia Rose has a son and manages the doctors at St. Anna in Lucerne. She is the first woman to be promoted as a replacement candidate in the «small Company» segment. With Silvia Rose as the employers’ representative, this is the first time four women are represented in the top committee of the joint foundation. «I personally am very happy about this mixture because when people contribute different perspectives, better-conceived solutions are the result.» I am convinced that this change in the foundation board – which has been dominated by men to date – will be felt positively,” emphasizes Werner Wüthrich, Chairman of the Vita Joint Foundation.
The acting members of the foundation board and the Chairman of the Vita Joint Foundation would like to sincerely welcome Silvia Rose to the foundation board and wish her a successful period in office.
As the highest body, the foundation board determines the strategic objectives and principles, ensures financial stability and supervises the executive. It is re-elected by the fund managers of the affiliated companies every four years. There will be general elections at the end of the term of office in 2021.
