Vita Classic Vita Joint Foundation – new Foundation Board elected September 14, 2017 Three previous and three new members were elected as employee representatives; four previous and two new members were elected to the Foundation Board as employers' representatives. The newly constituted Foundation Board began its term of office on September 13, 2017. As the supreme executive body, the Foundation Board determines the strategic goals and principles, ensures financial stability and monitors management. It is re-elected by the administration committees of the affiliated companies every four years. Peter E. Naegeli confirmed as President of the Foundation Board The newly elected Foundation Board elected Peter E. Naegeli (employers' representative) at its constitutive meeting of September 12 as President of the Foundation Board. Tanja Siegenthaler (employee representative) was named as Vice President. After the meeting, Peter E. Naegeli said: "I am very happy for the opportunity to continue to perform this exciting job, and I would like to thank the members of the Foundation Board for their trust." The new Foundation Board also designated the members of the Investment Committee, the Organization and Management Committee, the Audit Committee and the Business Development Committee. The committees are responsible for the preparation and implementation of the Foundation Board decisions. The exercising of voting rights by the administration committees (employee/employers' representatives) took place exclusively in electronic form via the online voting tool from June 15 to July 10, 2017. A relative majority sufficed for election. In other words, the candidates who gained the most votes in their election group (small, medium or large companies) were elected.
